Innovations

State Civil blocked off the side of the road while footpath works were occurring to allow for pedestrians to still gain access while not affecting vehicle access. This traffic and pedestrian plan was highly recommended and became a really good innovative way of continuing construction whilst maintaining safety and community satisfaction.

Issues and Strategies

Access was tight due to narrow footpath strip and therefore we used smaller machinery and hand digging around these areas to prevent damage to trees and surrounding items while completing the works to a schedule.

Additional Value for Money

Additional traffic control measures were provided at NO additional cost.
