Civil Maintenance & Minor Civil Construction Panel

State Civil was engaged by Waverly Council for the Civil Maintenance & Minor Civil Construction Panel. From 2015 till now, State Civil has been awarded to undertake civil works for car parks, footpath and roads within Waverly Council area.

The scope of the work includes:

• Demolition of existing footpath and
• Construction of new footpath and kerbs
• Adjusting lid
• Minor works for stormwater
• Supply and installation of signage and line
• Minor landscaping

Innovations

All the site works were undertaken under State Civil’s OHS & QMS system to ensure the site safety and project quality.

Works for these projects were undertaken in stages therefore all the works could be completed sufficiently within the planned time frame.

Issues and Strategie

Works for this project is being undertaken in stages to minimize the effect of construction works on the public transportation.

Additional Value for Money

Alternative materials were used to reduce the cost of the project while keeping the quality of materials to a high standard.
