Roundabout, Macpherson Street, Bronte

State Civil was engaged by Waverly Council for Roundabout Construction, Macpherson Street, Bronte. In this project, our company ensured that all the materials and the execution of the works are ecologically sound, environmentally benign and consistent with the principles of sustainable development.

The Scope of the work included:

• Removing the existing kerb, layback, pavement, kerb ramp and existing paved
• Remove existing parking
• Reconstruction of Kerb & kerb ramp & concrete
• Matched new pave footpath with existing paved footpath to make
• Construction of Roundabout using M40 concrete to the council
• Asphaltic pavement Reconstruction to match
• Installation of new sign posts and line

Innovations

All site works were undertaken under State Civil and Waverly Council standards.

Issues and Strategies

Access was tight due to increased flow of traffic, therefore we used smaller machinery around these areas to prevent traffic disruptions completing the works to a schedule.

Additional Value for Money

Additional traffic control measures were provided at NO additional cost.
